Endemic fluorosis, caused by excess fluoride in water, is widespread in the arid and semiarid tracts of India. This disorder is of recent origin and developed due to certain faulty water management practices. After Eager reported ‘dental mottling' among emigrants from Pozzuli in Italy in 1901, several such reports came from all over the world. From 3 works published independently from Pennsylvania, Arizona and South Africa in 1931, it was known that this disorder is caused by drinking water containing over 1 mg/L fluoride during formation of permanent teeth among children.‘Skeletal fluorosis/Osteofluorosis', affecting bones and joints among adults was reported by Moeller and Gudjonsson in 1932 due to accumulation of fluoride in hard tissues by drinking water with over 7 mg/L fluoride for several years. In course of time fluorosis has been reported in over 22 countries from all over the world. Fluorosis spreads now among 67 million people in the entire arid and semiarid tracts of India. The work of National Institute of Nutrition of India at Hyderabad in 1977 revealed the spread of endemic ‘genu valgum' (knock-knee) crippling lower limbs right from childhood in association with fluorosis in most parts of India. Although preliminary work revealed that genu valgum is caused by drinking waters poor in calcium and rich in molybdenum, efforts these disorders by supplying low-fluoride water should be taken up to know its exact cause to the communities could not so eradicate The governmental efforts to eradicate the problem.  相似文献

Tea bush is one of the plants cultivated in acidic soil, and is a typical hyper-accumulator of F and Al. Brick tea is a kind of brick-formed tea compressed using the older and coarse leaves and branches of tea trees. Brick tea mixed with milk is drunk as a daily indispensable beverage for Mongols, Ewenki, and other minority nationalities in the pastoral and semi-pastoral areas of Northwest China. It is reported that drinking brick tea can result in dental and skeletal fluorosis due to the high F content in it. Because Alzheimer's disease (AD) is related with Al in human brain, and Al has potential toxicities for skeletal and neural systems,  相似文献

高光谱(hyperspectral)遥感是20世纪末地球观测系统中最重要的技术突破之一。根据植被高光谱数据的植被冠层光谱反射特征和诊断性光谱吸收特征,利用光谱连续统去除法,探讨光谱一阶微分反射比(FDR)和从连续统去除的光谱吸收特征中获得的波段深度(BD)、连续统去除后微分反射比(CRDR)、波段深度比(BDR)和归一化波段深度指数(NBDI)等光谱特征参量。结合多时相的条锈病小麦PHI航空高光谱影像,分析条锈病对小麦光谱的影响及其光谱特征,并运用光谱特征参量和波谱角制图(SAM)技术监测和识别小麦条锈病。  相似文献

Timely diagnosis of crop diseases in fields is critical for precision on-farm disease management. Remote sensing technology can be used as an effective and inexpensive method to identify diseased plants in a field scale. However, due to the diversity of crops and their associated diseases, application of the technology to agriculture is still in research stage, which needs to be elaborately investigated for algorithm development and standard image processing procedures. In this paper, we examined the applicability of broadband high spatial-resolution ADAR (Airborne Data Acquisition and Registration) remote sensing data to detect rice sheath blight and developed an approach to further explore the applicability. Based on the field symptom measurements, a comprehensive field disease index (DI) was constructed to measure infection severity of the disease and to relate to image sampled infections. In addition to direct band digital number (DN) values, band ratio indices and standard difference indices were used to examine possible correlations between field and image data. The results indicated that the broadband remote sensing imagery has the capability to detect the disease. Some image indices such as RI14, SDI14 and SDI24 worked better than others. A correlation coefficient above 0.62 indicated that these indices would be valuable to use for identification of the rice disease. In the validation analysis, we obtained a small root mean square error (RMS = 9.1), confirming the applicability of the developed method. Although the results were encouraging, it was difficult to discriminate healthy plants from light infection ones when DI < 20 because of their spectral similarities. Hence, it was clear that identification accuracy increases when infection reaches medium-to-severe levels (DI > 35). This phenomenon illustrated that remote sensing images with higher spectral resolution (more bands and narrower bandwidth) were required in order to further examine the capability of separating the light diseased plants from healthy plants.  相似文献

1994年1月至2000年12月北京地区若干社区脑卒中发病人数与同期气象资料分析结果表明:北京地区脑卒中发病有明显的季节性,冬春季高发,夏秋季低发;出血性脑卒中发病是春秋季高发,夏季低发;缺血性脑卒中发病是夏季高,秋季低。脑卒中发病与气温、气压和相对湿度有密切关系;寒冷与高温,气温、气压的剧烈变化等,可能是诱发脑卒中的重要气象因素。  相似文献

通过对1975~1998年北京动物园动物发病率的统计分析,揭示了不同动物发病率的年变化特征和长期变化趋势,并分季节进行了发病率与气象因子的相关分析,发现冬季兽类发病率、秋季禽类发病率与同期气象因子相关较好,总体看春、夏季动物发病率与气象因子的关系不明显。  相似文献

为了利用地壳元素分布特征与动植物微量元素含量间的关系,指导生态环境综合治理,借助已有的基础地球化学资料,进行陕西省地球化学分区,确定各分区的环境背景值、污染起始值、缺乏临界值、过剩值临界值,并将陕西省分为陕北、关中、陕南3个地球化学区,圈定了1个元素贫化区和2个元素富集区。提出应该在元素的缺乏和过剩的异常区内进行生物体内微量元素含量的定期检测。做到对地球化学疾病及时发现及时寻找对策,以保证人类生存环境的安全,提高生存质量。  相似文献

手足口病(HFMD)是一种多发于儿童的常见传染病。近年来,中国HFMD发病人数逐年上升,疾病疫情也日益受到社会广泛关注。虽已有不少相关研究,但对于探测其时空异质性及量化潜在影响因子解释力的研究仍然较少。本文采用地理探测器及贝叶斯时空层次模型,对2009-2013年京津唐地区HFMD发病率的时空异质性进行分析,并量化各影响因子及其两两交互作用对HFMD发病率的解释力。结果表明:① HFMD的相对风险存在时间异质性,其发病风险在春夏季(5-7月)达到峰值,而冬季(12-次年2月)发病风险最低;② HFMD的相对风险存在空间异质性,在经济发达的地区HFMD发病率较高;③ 影响HFMD发病率时间异质性的主要气象因子为平均温度、累积降水、相对湿度,解释力分别为0.38,0.27,0.13,且交互作用都大于独自影响的作用,如平均温度和相对湿度、平均温度和降水,平均温度和风速两两交互的解释力分别为0.43, 0.40, 0.42。通过研究京津唐地区HFMD发病率的时空异质性以及影响因子的量化状况,为本地区HFMD的预防和控制提供理论依据。  相似文献

条斑紫菜(Pyropia yezoensis)贝壳丝状体黄斑病给育苗产业造成危害,但目前对健康状态下的菌群结构及其发病后变化仍缺乏认识。本研究基于第二代测序技术和16S r RNA序列分析,对健康和患病丝状体的细菌组成与变化进行比较。测序共产生1.6Gb配对末端序列,获得了第一个高通量的条斑紫菜贝壳丝状体细菌群落数据集。通过数据分析共识别出7,833种可操作分类单元(operational taxonomic units,OTUs),比对确定为18个细菌门。相对于健康样本,黄斑病丝状体样本的微生物多样性显著增加。主坐标分析和非加权组平均法(unweighted pair group method using arithmetic average,UPGMA)聚类均将健康和黄斑病丝状体分成不同的组,且健康组样本间的距离明显小于黄斑病组。上述结果说明,健康贝壳丝状体保持着相似的微生物群落结构,而患病后的丝状体则发生了不同的变化;健康样本和黄斑病样本组间差异显著的细菌属有39个,其中29个在健康样本中的相对丰度明显高于病患组样本。本研究从菌群生态角度分析了健康贝壳丝状体微生物菌群结构、发病后菌群的变化及其对丝状体生长的潜在作用,为丝状体病害的检测和预防提供有价值的信息。  相似文献
